Today I uploaded the second video of the project. Today is also the day that the club goseth up, according the rap music game. I worked on a new script for a very long time, about the changing music genres in America, and I researched the works of George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, and the search for an American sound, which is something I am very interested in and even had an independent study I created with the help of Mr. Randolph. However, at the end of the day I decided the topic had too much information for me to cover in one video, which is a shame because it's so interesting.
Unfortunately I had already done a lot of work when I decided it would be way too much time and effort and especially history to fit into one video. I was actually really angry, because I worked for hours on this script and I just couldn't fit what I wanted to say into it. Honestly you could write hundreds of pages of material on this and it would still be meaningful and interesting to me. But, that is just too much for this little boy to handle. So I will probably try a new idea tomorrow.
