Day 15: Monday April 13, 2015

Today was tricky because I began a new project while still not having finished the old one.


I wanted to get a head start on the script for this week, so I began brainstorming ideas this morning. It was hard to think of something because my mind was still on the work from last week. I am kind of considering creating a narrative behind the idea from last weeks video, but I'm unsure at this point. I'll decide for sure tomorrow.

I also had to edit even more today. Editing is hard because I'm never truly happy with myself and I can always find some flaw after the fact. It's tough, but I definitely don't want to do what I did the first week and reshoot the entire thing. Thankfully, this week the shots looked good and I didn't mess up as much.


The video is almost done. I am gonna have my dad watch it tomorrow morning to see if he still thinks it needs work, and I'll try to upload it soon after. I have been working on trying to make the cuts seem natural, but it may need a little work. I also had an idea today to actually show social media use, and I might insert that tomorrow in place of some of the interviews. I interviewed a lot of people, and the amount seems to be a bit excessive. I dunno. I guess you're never truly happy with your work until you are.


I'll see tomorrow what I should add or subtract to the video. It should be up that night (if we get the WiFi back), or it will be up Wednesday morning at the latest. Fingers crossed.
